Dragnet friend Laura Trethewey has created this really neat video for the new issue of Boulderpavement. Ever wondered what it would be like to go to Nunavut? Laura uses Google Earth to see what it might be like, and she’s letting us all come along.

Finally! Dragnet friend, lover, confidant, all around good-ass dude, Devan Boomen has dropped his EP Find Love, and it is awesome. Stream it, download it, do what you will with it, but I dare you to not dance to it.

Exciting News for Friends and Staff of Dragnet!

Some very exciting things have happened to one of our own and two of our friends. Dragnet Poetry Editor, Suzannah Showler, has been shortlisted for the RBC Bronwen Wallace Award for Emerging Writers! Also on the shortlist, Dragnet friend, and all around cool lady, Laura Clarke.

The other bit of exciting news is that Spencer Gordon has won the 2013 CBC Overlookie Bookie Award for his debut short story collection, Cosmo.

Many congratulations and much love to all of our wonderfully talented friends and colleagues!!!

If you missed our birthday party last week (it’s okay, but like, you’re going to have to get us a real nice gift next year) you also missed the launch of our indiegogo campaign which we started to help us fund the printing of our  anthology. There is an array of wicked incentives, the best one being that you can pre-order the book, and we will send it direct to your doorstep (or if you live in Toronto, maybe one of us will bring it to you via bicycle.) So go check it out, tell all of your friends, support Dragnet! Y’all are the best!!
